I cannot believe that it has almost been two months since our 26th reunion in Cleveland, Ohio. I had a great time with all the attendees, although there were some challenges and Indians lost to the Reds. I personally had the opportunity to spend some time with family and friends from my years growing up in Cleveland.,
The best time was had with all of the HARD CHARGERS and their significant others in the hospitality room and consuming pitchers of beer or bottles of wine long after the evening meal concluded.
Dan Mitchell, Rob Roshell, 1/30 FA, my wife Marilyn and I are already planning for everyone to come to Fort Sill next year. We are modeling many on the events after the 100th anniversary last year. It looks like the 1/30 change of command will be 12 June 2020, so we are looking at the week of 8 to 12 June for the reunion. We have a tentative agreement with the Homewood Suites in Lawton that needs to be confirmed with the Executive Committee. We’ll give you more details as plans become finalized.
At the business meeting in Cleveland, we decided on three potential sites for the 2021 reunion - Kansas City, New Orleans, or San Antonio. We will make our decision on a definite site at the 2020 business meeting.
Thanks for all you do and enjoyed seeing so many of you in Cleveland. God bless you!
